Biography: Baltazar Castillo was born in Chicago IL. He began painting in
the 1990's. Prior to this, his work was as a figurative sculptor. Mr.
Castillo lives and works in Chicago. He is presently employed as resident
artist with Urban Gateways and teaches within the Chicago Public School
system. Recently enrolled at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
Education: Triton College; River Grove Il. - 1980 - 1982
